Q1 Results Reveal UK Salons Investing in Software
At the end of the first quarter of 2010, Integrity Software results reveal that salon and spa businesses in the UK are investing in computer systems despite recent tough times on the high street.
Although the recession showed a decrease in the number of salons installing salon management systems, this was relatively minor when compared to other industries, showing that throughout the credit crunch and resulting recession, business software has remained a priority for salons hoping to survive, and even thrive, beyond 2009.
Now that the effects of recession are fading, recent sales and pipeline figures show that more salons than ever are turning to salon software as a means to acheive greater profitability, stronger customer relationships, improved staff motivation and increased client loyalty.
Stewart Holness, CEO, comments, "It's great to see that industries which were hit hard by the recession, such as salon and spa, are recognising the importance of business management software to provide a strong foundation for growth as we emerge on the other side of the storm. March saw us add more salon customers to our books than in any other month previously and we now look forward to a record year in UK salon software sales."
